Design and Functionality

The Palletrone incorporates a multi-rotor drone encased within a protective cage. Its spacious, flat upper surface allows for easy loading, while the user controls the cart by exerting force on a rear-mounted handle. The platform remains stable thanks to built-in actuators that maintain a level flight by continuously adjusting roll and pitch during operation.

The carts rotors are encaged offering safety to the user, the cart can be pushed and maneuvered via the handles at the rear.

Key Features and Limitations

One of the Palletrone's standout advantages is its ability to tackle stairs effortlessly. However, the current design has some limitations. It can carry only 2.93 kg (6.5 lbs), making it impractical for heavier loads, and its flight time is restricted by battery life. Additionally, the drone's noise and airflow can be disruptive, particularly in indoor settings.

The cart is able to scale stairs effortlessly due to its hovering capabilities, however there is a massive amount of noise production.
